REMEC Broadband Wireless International passed ISO 9001 surveillance audit
Laguna, Philippines - May, 2009 - REMEC Broadband Wireless International passed the Quality Management System or ISO 9001:2000 standard surveillance audit conducted by SGS last May 4, 2009
The ISO 9001:2000 designation was obtained after an extensive audit of RBWI's operations, management, and quality systems. ISO 9001:2000 is an international quality management standard developed for companies to demonstrate its ability to provide product that meets statutory and regulatory requirements, and demonstrates the organization's ability to implement the planned management system. By passing the surveillance audit to the ISO 9001:2000 standard, RBWI demonstrates highly effective business processes, commitment to continuous quality improvement, and an intense focus on customer satisfaction.
The company achieved its original ISO 9001:2000 certification in February 2004, and has since maintained its certification by participating in surveillance audits, complying with the strict requirements of quality standards.
