REMEC Broadband Wireless International awarded ISO 14001 certification
Laguna, Philippines - December 2008 - REMEC Broadband Wireless International passed the Environmental Management System or ISO 14001:2004 standard.
The audit and certification was conducted by International Standards Certifications Pty Ltd (ISC) last December 3 & 4.
The ISO 14001:2004 certification was obtained after an extensive audit of RBWI's operations, management and environmental, health & safety policies. ISO 14001 is an internationally accepted standard that sets out how we can go about putting in place an effective Environmental Management System (EMS). The standard is designed to address the delicate balance between maintaining profitability and reducing environmental impact; with the commitment of the entire organization
RBWI is now an Earth Friendly Facility.
